Redesign the website
I started off as a freelancer, invited to work on a small project since the consulting team didn't need a full-time designer. My focus was mainly on dashboard and data visualization projects. Recently, the team asked me to overhaul the website. The existing site, built years ago, is set for a redesign to not only look more professional but also to improve SEO performance and better showcase our portfolio.

The Team
Cross-Functional Collaboration in a Tech-Driven Environment
At Exaud, I was part of a cross-functional team within a consultancy built by and for tech professionals. The team structure was primarily composed of software engineers, back-end and front-end developers, and technical specialists, focused on delivering custom software solutions.
As the Product Designer, I worked closely with the Marketing Manager to align design initiatives with business strategy and brand positioning. On the development side, I collaborated directly with front-end developers, ensuring smooth handoffs and seamless implementation of the design solutions we crafted.
For partnership projects with Exaud’s clients, I often served as a bridge between the Business Development team and the Tech team, helping to translate business needs into clear, actionable design solutions. This required balancing technical feasibility, user experience, and business goals, often in fast-moving projects with shifting priorities.
This collaborative, tech-driven environment honed my ability to work across disciplines, communicate effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders, and deliver user-centered designs that met both business objectives and technical constraints.

Working Without Copy
One thing I'd change about this process is working without copy—it's a challenge. In design, context is everything. Images should complement the copy, leading to further actions. Without copy, I sometimes felt unable to make certain design decisions.
